Very detailed, informative review. I am a “confident beginner” and have yet to do collars or zippers but I ordered this pattern. Thanks!

Any diagonal wrinkles are a depth(or dart) issue. If you create a dart in the tissue in addition or added to the current one, then taper the dart to nothing at the CF, this will remove a lot of the wrinkles. The shoulder angle indeed can also be wrong, so taking perhaps around 1/2″ extra at the armhole tapering to nothing at the neckline will also help. As for the wrinkles in the back, they are caused by too much length, or a swayback. If you take a tuck at CB above the waistline & taper it to nothing at the side seams, all those wrinkles will disappear. Tapering changes to nothing at some area of the pattern is essential so that the pattern/tissue lays flat. Good luck!

I have been home embroidery for a very long time.
It’s so much fun, you can customize everything from pillowcases to personlized t-shirts, jackets etc.
When it doesn’t work, it is a great pain, but that’s not to often. You are wise to use correct stabilizer.

thank you for your opinions on the diverse machines. I have one of the first machines brought out by Brother 25 years ago and am looking to replace it as my machine is a European model.

Thank you so much for the detailed information. I currently own a Babylock Destiny 2 and am considering upgrading to either the Solaris or the Brother Luminare. This information was quite valuable.

Thank you. I’ve been trying to figure out the difference between machines and also, trying to decide between a high end home machine and an industry machine. I’m not a quilter, yet. However, I’m intrigued by ITH projects. I want the largest frames I can afford. I’m really starting to consider a high end home machine now. Thanks!
